What’s New?

Lesson Previews provide a seamless way to:

• Experience lessons from the student perspective to check for appropriate content and difficulty.

• Preview custom lessons or tests you’ve created to ensure they flow as intended.

• Demonstrate lessons to your students without needing to log into a student account.

This feature is accessible from multiple points in your Typing.com dashboard, making it easy to check content before or during assignment creation.

How Does It Work?

Preview Lessons on the Curriculum Page

1. Navigate to the Curriculum page on your dashboard.

2. Select the unit or lesson you want to preview.

3. Click the "Preview Lesson" button to view the content from the student's perspective.

Preview Custom Lessons or Tests

1. Go to the Custom Lessons page.

2. Find the custom lesson or test you want to preview.

3. Click the "Preview" button to see exactly how students will interact with it.

Preview During Assignment Creation

1. Go to your Assignments page and click the blue "Add Assignment" button.

2. Select the assignment type (e.g., Core Curriculum, Games).

3. Browse the available lessons and click "Preview Lesson" for a student view.

4. You can click through all screens, watch any videos, and even complete typing exercises to ensure the lesson aligns with your class needs.

Search for Lessons or Tests

1. Use the Search Bar at the top of your Typing.com dashboard.

2. Enter the name of a lesson, unit, or test.

3. Click the preview option from the search results for a quick review.
