We've Been Busy: 182 Enhancements and Counting!

You asked for improvements, and we delivered! Since October 1st, our team has implemented an incredible 182 enhancements to Typing.com. These updates range from small tweaks to medium-sized improvements, all designed to make your Typing.com experience smoother and more efficient.

What's New?

Let's highlight a few of the exciting improvements we've made:

Faster, Smarter Custom Lesson Management

Managing your custom lessons just got a whole lot easier! We've completely redesigned the sorting interface, moving it to a dedicated display that's optimized for speed and efficiency. Now you can quickly reorganize your custom lessons without the frustration of slow loading times (for those of you who have dozens of lessons) or clunky controls.

Never Lose Track of New Items

Have you ever added multiple items and then struggled to find them in your lists? Those days are gone! Now, whenever you create new students, classes, assignments, or custom lessons, you'll see a temporary "New" tag next to each newly created item when you return to the listing screen. It's a small change that hopefully makes a big difference in your daily workflow.

Role Persistence for Admins and Teachers

For our multi-role educators, we've added an ease-of-use feature: role persistence. If you have both Admin (i.e. District Administrator or School Administrator) and teacher roles in Typing.com, we'll now remember which role you were using last. So if you were working as a teacher in your previous session, you'll automatically return to your teacher role when you sign back in—no more unnecessary switching with the Role Switcher!

Clearer Assignment Due Dates

Based on your feedback (thank you!), we've improved how assignment due dates are displayed in the student portal. The enhanced clarity helps both students and parents better understand when work needs to be completed, leading to better time management and fewer missed deadlines.
